Johnboy has been hard at the trumpet thing for a long time now.  After graduating from the University of Washington with his music degree he immediately joined the hit rock and soul band freddy pink.  After being on the road for an extended amount of time, he began exhibiting strange and bizarre behavior.  this is his story.....

Johnboy was relaxing at his favorite watering hole when we ambled by for a couple a beers an a couple of laughs.  we learned  how a very complex, and sometimes murky relationship yielded an inseparable frindship with his buddy paul.  Unlikley? perhaps, but then again, That’s the thing about the life of johnBoy, there’s always a little lesson to be learned, and a silver lining to every story...

Johnboy had broken up with his girlfriend tanya, who it turns out was also dating one of the band’s saxophone players paul fessenden.  After a brief face-off, the two discovered that Tanya was also dating a guy named eric popwicz.  Sharing the same loss they became close friends.  This next episode finds  John Boy preparing for a trip to big sky montana where the band is playing a fourth of july show.  The problem is...Tanya is a flight attendant on pink bird one, the band’s private plane.  this will interesting...

Johnboy got a taste of reality, but in true Johnboy style he chose to take the high-road with a little johnboy humor after finding out that Tanya’s new boyfriend was a special forces soldier.   Evidently he is highly skilled in the field of weaponry, and just about everything else, in fact, the guy literally knows everything there is to know about absolutley everything.  When asked about his vast knowledge he responed “ Yeah...I do pretty much know everything” 

This next episode the boys hook up at the airport for the flight to Big Sky Montana.  Excitement is in the air this morning as the boys eat a healthy breakfast in preparation for the high altitude concert, however Pink Keyboardist David Loy is worried about what he percieves could bea potentially volitile situation.

Once airborne, Tanya traded sections with one of the other flight attendants onboard and the rest of the crew was finally able to relax a bit.  however, because Johnboy was seated with his buddy pauly, and directly across the isle from the band’s other saxophonist, ej john erickson, things were not what you would call peacful by any means.   Ej had just purchased the new droid telephone, and in his fervent quest to quash the ever growing presence of iphones in the band, he spoke encesantly about the product if not at nauseum.  His refusal to turn the phone off while taking off caused an electronic malfunction in the cockpit, and a subsequent emergency landing in pocotello idaho.
